The Data Fiduciary responsible for your personal data under the DPDP Act is Pioneer Poll Strategies Private Limited, a private limited company incorporated on 10 August 2022 under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U74999AP2022PTC122495), having its registered office at 45-44A-12, First Floor, 80 Feet Road, Akkayyapalem, Near NAD Maharani Parlour, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh 530016. Join Politics is an initiative of the Company, and "Join Politics", "we" and "us" in this Policy refer to the Company. 1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Join Politics ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use www.joinpolitics.in. It is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

2. Data we collect

Through the enquiry and contact forms we collect: name, age/date of birth, gender, mobile number, email address, state, Lok Sabha constituency, assembly segment, preferred political party, preferred position or role, occupation, skills, prior experience and any message you provide. We also collect basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and submission time for security purposes.

Your political party preference may reveal your political opinion. We treat it with particular care and process it only on the basis of your explicit consent.

3. Purpose of processing

• To review your enquiry and connect you with your selected political party;
• To contact you about your enquiry;
• To maintain security, prevent misuse and comply with law.

4. Consent

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the consent box. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@joinpolitics.in; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

5. Sharing of data

We share your details only with the political party you selected and its authorised coordinators, solely so they can contact you. We do not sell or rent your data. We may disclose data where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a government authority. Hosting and technical service providers may process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

6. Retention

We retain your data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to access a summary of your data, to correction, completion, updating and erasure, to withdraw consent, to grievance redressal and to nominate another person to exercise your rights. To exercise them, contact us using the details below.

8. Security

We use reasonable security practices, including secure hosting, access controls and restricted admin access, to protect your data. No online system is completely secure, however.

9. Cookies

The Website uses only essential cookies (for example, session cookies for forms and admin login). We do not use advertising cookies.

10. Children

The Website is meant for persons aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data of children. If such data reaches us, we will delete it.

11. Changes
