What is Join Politics?
Join Politics is an independent, non-partisan online platform that helps youth and citizens express interest in joining and serving a political party in their state and constituency.
Who can register?
Any Indian citizen aged 18 years or older who wishes to participate in public life through a political party.
Does it cost anything?
No. Registering on Join Politics is completely free. We never ask for payment for party membership, positions or tickets. Report anyone who asks for money in our name.
How does it work?
You fill the Join form with your details, location, preferred party, position and how you'd like to serve. Our team reviews it and, with your consent, shares it with the relevant party organisation.
Which parties can I choose?
National parties appear for every state. State and regional parties appear only in states where they are active, for example TDP in Andhra Pradesh and BRS in Telangana.
How do I choose my constituency?
Select your state first, then your Lok Sabha (parliament) constituency, then the assembly segment within it. Choose the area where you live or wish to serve.
What roles can I express interest in?
You can choose roles such as booth-level worker, volunteer, social media, legal, research, organising or leadership positions, and describe the skills you bring.
How are my details shared?
Only with your consent, and only with the party you selected (and its relevant coordinators) so that they can contact you. We do not sell your data.
Do you guarantee membership, a position or an election ticket?
No. Decisions on membership, positions and tickets are made solely by the political parties. Join Politics only facilitates the introduction.
How long will it take to hear back?
Timelines depend on the party and the region. We aim to review enquiries promptly, but response times from parties can vary.
Is Join Politics affiliated with any party or the Election Commission?
No. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any political party, government body or the Election Commission of India.
Is my data safe?
We store data securely and handle it as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with the IT Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Can I update or delete my details?
Yes. Email info@joinpolitics.in from your registered email or call +91 79979 25644 to correct, update or delete your data or withdraw consent.
Can I change my preferred party later?
Yes. Contact us with your updated preference and we'll update your enquiry.
